The Drummer And The Keeper gets rave reviews, big audiences

Nick’s debut feature film has attracted huge media attention and impressive audiences in its first week of theatrical release in Ireland.

Following a packed premiere in Dublin’s Lighthouse Cinema (which included an earlier Autism-friendly show, believed to be Ireland’s first ever Autism-friendly premiere), The Drummer And The Keeper went on general release on Friday September 8th, initially screening in 13 cinemas in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway.

It has received 4 star reviews from media outlets as diverse as the Sunday World, The Sunday Independent, Hot Press, The Sunday Times, the RTE Guide, Radio Nova and Movies.ie.

There have been major features on the movie in the Irish Times, the Irish Independent, the Sunday Independent and the Examiner. Nick has had a 30 minute in depth interview with Ireland’s leading radio presenter Ryan Tubridy on RTE Radio 1, and the movie has also been featured on the RTE television’s main evening news.

This media reaction has been mirrored by extremely positive audience reaction, resulting in additional screens in Wexford, Roscommon and Cork being added in the second week of release.
